Weather protection housing in metal with internal heater for VD 500, VD 400 and CD 400. For cold areas or outdoors, keeps the humidity away.

The box has built-in 150-ohm resistor that functions as internal heating.
The current consumption of the resitor is 80mA / 1W at 12V AC / DC and 160mA / 4W at 24V AC / DC, in both cases the effect is enough to prevent from a moisture inside the housing.

The housing is equipped with an UV-resistant cable gland in plastic that can handle a cable diameter of 4.5-10 mm and which is also adapted to protect the cable with our flexible metal hoses MC T2, T4 or T7.
