PSV 2465-Medium is a power supply unit with battery charging and space for 2 batteries 12V/12Ah.
It complies with the standard EN 50131–6:2008, Security Grade 3, Environmental Class II.
It shall be connected to the mains with a disconnecting device that is located nearby and is easily accessible.
PSV 2465-Medium has the unique ViP (Voltage in Parallel) function developed by ALARMTECH. Power supply units with the ViP function can be connected in parallel, both plus (+) and minus (–) on the same supply loop without additional synchronization. Units connected on the loop will share the load. The ViP function can be used to build distributed and fault-tolerant power supply systems (redundancy). By placing additional ViP units on the loop, the ViP function can be used to compensate for voltage drop.
The voltage conversion is based on a high-frequency SMPS resonance mode regulator with high efficiency and low internal heat generation, which protects the batteries from overheating.
The processor-controlled battery charging operates with constant voltage and limited current, the most advanced and best method to achieve the longest possible battery life.
The power supply unit has built-in self-diagnostics that indicate mains power failure, various types of battery faults, low output voltage, and fuse failure
