JB 110 is a distribution terminal that splits an incoming supply cable — 1 pair IN — into 5 outgoing pairs OUT. It can also be used to connect 5 pairs together into a single outgoing pair.
For example, it is very useful for the GD 475 glass break detector, which only has two wires and is polarity independent. This means that the two wires from the GD 475 can be connected to A and B on the distribution terminal, which are then linked to a single pair for connection to the IU 400 interface.
A distribution terminal thus allows up to 5 GD 475 detectors to be connected to one IU 400 interface. The installation therefore becomes much easier and faster than before.
JB 110 also features tamper protection to ensure secure installations.
